About

I write from southern Ocean County in New Jersey; on the edge of the woods and the cedar trees, in a house I designed and built by myself, and yet within walking distance to the bay…truly the best of both worlds.

I like to think of myself as “a writer” although I have never actually BEEN employed as a writer.  I have kept journals since I was an adolescent girl and started blogging in 2008 because I felt compelled to keep diary writing, but my penmanship had declined terribly over the years and I type so much faster, so blogging became a “thing.”

I think of myself as seeker and finder of silver linings, and I do truly, as naive as it may be, imagine there is good in most people.  I am the proverbial black-sheep of my family and as a result, from the time I was a teenager, I have constantly tried to find common ground with them, and ultimately with everybody.  I live my life as a perfect example of how you can completely disagree with people about most things and still love them…and so common ground is my favorite grind of all…welcome…
